"ignoring dark days of our unlucky neighbours on this earth..."

Dear Abigail, apologies for this post if it is inappropriate.

I just don't know what to do with the knowledge that I live in a society that is unaware of the following facts:

24,000 of our fellow humans starve to death every day somewhere in the world.

Yet there is no major technical or financial inability of stopping this today!

Perplexity-AI search shows that 7% of world GDP could pay to put into effect Article.25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

Best regards,

A self-taught thinker

I can't wait to see what that looks like for you sweetie!

I think community is the main thing we are missing these days, and I know you are working to create a real community for yourself and friends at the moment, and that's what we all need <3

My beautiful friend. I hope your book is going so well and can’t wait to read it.

I completely agree. My “how to make friends” post was my most viewed last year. And I’m really interested in community art at the moment ☺️

I think Trump 2.0 has ignited a lot of thought into how to respond in a different way to 1.0. That’s been a source of inspiration for me. I always enjoy Pod Save America, and similar shows for that.

I'm interested to see how John Oliver is going to cover things when Last Week Tonight comes back. Imo he always seems to have the right balance of being able to laugh at adversity and withoyevwr being too negative.
