I particularly loved "I would think about sticking my hand up her skirt and bringing out the color a little more", one of those really great euphemisms that says so much with so little.
Thanks Ian ~ I think writing this did help me find the voice I wanted to work in… it’s on the way towards my work now, in that it’s an adult female voice, smart, funny… but Ann is probably a little more sinister than my current protagonists!!
